1822TAN - Easy and Convenient Online Transaction Approval

1822TAN is a free iPhone app developed by 1822direkt Gesellschaft der Frankfurter Sparkasse mbH. It falls under the category of Business & Productivity with a subcategory of Finance.

With the 1822TAN+ method, you can easily approve your online transactions directly through the app. When an online transaction is awaiting approval, you will receive a push notification on your smartphone through the 1822TAN+ app. In the app, you can then confirm or cancel the transaction.

This innovative method offers several advantages. You can now handle your banking transactions even more conveniently and quickly. No more need for TAN lists or TAN numbers via SMS. Instead, you receive transaction data via push notifications directly to your smartphone. To activate the 1822TAN+ method, simply go to the "Settings > TAN > Manage TAN Methods" section in your customer portal. Follow the instructions provided in your customer portal and in the 1822TAN+ app to complete the activation process.

Please note that certain permissions are required on your device for the app to function properly. These include access to your camera for scanning a QR code during the activation process, as well as permission for the 1822TAN+ app to send push notifications to your smartphone.

It is recommended to use devices that still receive security updates from the manufacturer to ensure the compatibility and security of the app.

Please be aware that the app does not support devices with jailbreak. This is done to prioritize your security during financial transactions by excluding the usage of jailbroken devices, which could pose a security risk.
